    The report comes at a time when Bitcoin has taken a major hit worldwide after 
    South Korea repeats a proposed ban on such currency, fueling concern that a 
    crack-down will occure on one of the world's biggest sources of demand the Bitcoin.

    According to a our source, Reliance Jio Info comm is drawing up plans to 
    create its own cryptocurrency, JIO COIN. The new bet, a Mint report claims, 
    is the mandate of a 50-member team working on blockchain technology, which is 
    being helmed by Ambani's elder son Akash Ambani.


    Back in home, the finance minister, Arun Jaitley and Reserve Bank of India (RBI) 
    have warned Bitcoin users on the risks such cryptocurrencies carry. Arun Jaitley has 
    even said that cryptocurrency is not legalised as of now, while the RBI has made 
    it clear several times that the creation, trading or usage of all virtual currencies, 
    including Bitcoins, as a medium for payment are not authorised by any central bank or 
    monetary authority.


    While Jio has not commented on the move, the report claimed 
    that Ambani's plan to tap into blockchain technology for smart 
    contracts was still in the "proposed stage".

    Block chain उन टेक्नोलॉजी में एक है जो कि 21 वीं सदी कि अर्थव्यवस्था में बहुत बड़ा परिवर्तन लाने की क्षमता रखती हैं.
    Block chain डिजिटल जानकारी  को वितरित करने की क्षमता रखता है अर्थात यह एक डिस्ट्रिब्यूटेड नेटवर्क की तरह कार्य करता है। Database के सभी रिकॉर्ड
    एक Computer में Store नहीं होते बल्कि 1000 कम्प्यूटर्स या लाखों कम्प्यूटर्स में वितरित होते है। ब्लॉक चैन का हर एक कंप्यूटर हर एक रिकॉर्ड के पूरे इतिहास का वर्णन कर सकता है। यह डेटाबेस एन्क्रिप्टेड है और गोपनीय (Secret) तरीके से दर्ज किया गया है।
    ब्लॉकचैन फाल्ट टोलेरंट(fault Tolerant) भी है यानि इस सिस्टम में यदि एक कंप्यूटर खराब भी हो जाता है तो यह सिस्टम काम करता रहता है। इसमें कोई भी नए समझौते या रिकार्ड्स को दर्ज करना होता है तो इस के लिए कई साझेदारों (कम्प्यूटर्स) की स्वीकृति की जरुरत पड़ती है।
    Block chain एक ऐसी technology है जिसे Financial transaction रिकॉर्ड करने के लिए प्रोग्राम किया गया है। यह एक digital system है। इसमें एक इंटरनेट टेक्नोलॉजी की अंत-निहित मज़बूती है। जो अपने नेटवर्क पर समान जानकारी के ब्लाक को संग्रह कर सकता है।
    इसे हैक करना बहुत मुश्किल है क्योंकि हैकर को डाटा बेस हैक करने के लिए एक साथ एक ही समय में हजारों कम्प्यूटर्स को हैक करना पड़ेगा। यही कारण है कि हम Block chain को एक सुरक्षित टेक्नोलॉजी मानते है। ब्लाक चैन का पहला प्रयोग 2008 में हुआ था। जब बिटकोईन(Bitcoin) नामक एक डिजिटल मुद्रा का आविष्कार हुआ। Block chain का प्रयोग बिटकॉइन के लिए ही नहीं किया जा सकता अपितु कही भी कर सकते है जहां भरोसा, गारंटी के लिए एक बिचौलिया (Intermediary) की जरूरत है।
    यदि कोई ग़रीब आदमी सरकारी वेतन चाहता है तो सरकार उस वेतन को Block chain के जरिए उसके mobile app पर भेज सकती है।
    आपदा की स्थिति में जिन लोगो के मकान, फसल आदि नष्ट हो जाती है और सरकार उनकी सहायता करना चाहती है तो Block chain द्वारा सरकार सहायता राशि सीधे उनके mobile app पर भेज सकती है। इससे भ्रष्टाचार कम होगा।
    ब्लॉकचैन का प्रयोग शिक्षा में भी हो सकता है छात्रों को कागजी डिग्री की बजाय ब्लॉकचैन निर्मित डिग्री दी जा सकती है। इससे जाली डिग्री की समस्या का समाधान हो सकता है।
    Block chain तकनिकी में खरीदार ओर बेचने वाले  के मध्य सीधा ही पैसे का स्थानान्तरण किया जाता है इस ट्रांजेक्‍शन मे किसी भी दूसरे व्यक्ति की आवश्क्ता नही होती  है । यह तकनीक सबसे सुरक्षित है ।
    इसका उपयोग तकनीकी ट्रांजेक्‍शन मे बड़े डाटा को एक कम्प्युटर से दूसरे कम्प्युटर मे ट्रांसफर करते वक्त उसे हैक होने से बचाने के लिए किया जाता है।
    Block chain एक डिस्ट्रिब्यूटेड सिस्टम होता है जिसकी मदद से पैसे के लेन देन को ज्यादा transparent और सिक्योर बनाया जाता है
